About

Who Are We?

Samson Engineering Inc. (SEI) was established in 1998 and was the first engineering firm to be based in Brandon. Since that time SEI has developed and gained knowledge of rural, agriculturally-based communities while also attributing the same architectural and engineering capacity available in large cities. Samson Engineering completes designs for a wide range of projects of a varying scope of work, from large chain hotels to hog barns.

Samson Engineering presently has on staff multi-disciplinary engineers, architect, drafting technologists and administrative support. Our valued clients repeatedly turn to us for creative designs, innovative ideas, technical expertise, construction know-how and cost-sensitive solutions to carry their projects from concept to completion. Our employees have obtained education from recognized universities and colleges, and have continued to obtain professional certifications from established industry associations. All of SEI’s professional engineers are registered by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba (APEGM), and in some cases by professional associations in other provinces. SEI’s architect is registered with the Manitoba Association of Architects http://www.mbarchitects.org/ and the engineering technologists are registered with the Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM).

SEI employees have had previous experience in a diverse variety of industries, involving a wide range of projects. From working in Malaysia building the Kuala Lumpur Monorail system, to reconstructing hydro-electric dams in the United States, to gas turbine engine troubleshooting and repair, our engineers have been there. These wide-ranging projects can take years to complete and provide invaluable experience for our professionals.

What do we do?

SEI completes a wide variety of architecture and  engineering  projects, ranging from improvements to food processing plants, bridge repair and design, the design of large hotels and other commercial properties, the complete design of subdivisions, and product development.  Our engineers have also been involved in designing fixes for flood victims. This variety is a testament to the depth of our skills and experience, at the same time creating opportunities for our Junior Engineers to gain valuable experience. This combination of on-the-job experience and exposure to new product developments, technology, and a creative way of thinking is what allows SEI to create innovative solutions and designs.
